Effective date: March 11, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Circade ("the app"), a sunrise alarm clock for iOS. By using the app, you agree to these Terms.
Circade calculates your local sunrise time using your device's GPS location and sets an alarm accordingly. The app requires location and notification permissions to function properly.
Circade is not a safety-critical alarm system. Due to iOS platform limitations:
We do our best to ensure reliable alarms, but we are not responsible for missed alarms or any consequences thereof. Do not rely solely on Circade for time-critical wake-ups.
You agree to use the app for its intended purpose as a personal alarm clock. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app.
All content, design, and code in Circade are owned by the developer. Classical music tracks included in the app are royalty-free or properly licensed.
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that sunrise times will be perfectly accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to missed alarms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective date" above will be revised. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law.
